The Partners of Brownlee LLP are excited to announce that lawyer Gregory Plester has joined the firm’s Partnership to start in 2021.

A member of the Municipal Practice Area, Gregory focuses on tax recovery; assessment and taxation; enforcement of municipal bylaws, the Safety Codes Act, and development agreements; privacy and access to information; and utility regulation.

He has also assisted municipalities in respect to various assessment issues, and has successfully defended municipal assessments from related complaints and subsequent court challenges.

Gregory has represented clients before several administrative tribunals including the Municipal Government Board, various Subdivision and Development Appeal Boards and the Alberta Utilities Commission.
