Alberta's Condominium Property Amendment Act was passed in late 2014, with some changes coming into effect in early 2018. However, the work does not end there as regulations are required to govern daily condo living, including improvements to voting rules, notices of & ways to attend general meetings, access to condo documents, improved financial accountability, strengthening how reserve funds are managed as well as dealing with insurance requirements and rental deposits. Have your say in the new Condominium Regulations
The engagement outcomes will support the development of modern fair laws for condominium owners, developers, condominium managers, condominium corporations and others.
